Selina’s @ Calmababy

A fab visit to Calmababy on a rainy Monday!

My mum was on annual leave but the weather was rubbish so we wanted to do something fun other than the usual soft play and this was perfect.

They run a Toddler class ‘Development play’ on a Monday morning 9:30 till 10:30 so we thought we’d give this a go. Singing then some sensory tuff trays in a lovely clean, bright studio. Freddie loved it and I loved not having to clean up all the rice etc after 🤣. The lady that ran it was also brilliant.

Then we went to the cafe which is open for anyone to use with a a fab little enclosed play area perfect for little ones. It’s padded with a small climbing frame, wooden table with activities and some soft play blocks.

There was a ‘bar’ area onlooking the play area so you could have a coffee/cake and watch your little one playing at the same time 🙌.

There were a few bouncers in the cafe for babies which was a really nice touch for families with little ones of different ages.

There was also an outdoor area with lots of seating a climbing frame and an array of toys. With the weather being awful we sadly didn’t get to use this but the boys were very keen so we’ll be back to try it out (and for cake!).
